Cavan “Calhoun” Lewis, 61, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:13 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Sarah Lightell Lewis; son, Calvin Lewis Jr.; daughters, Robin (Phillip) Watkins and Jasmine (Amone) Alexander; sisters, Emelda Twiggs, Wilma Thomas and Helen Phillips; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Southdown Cemetery in Houma.
