Janice Bruce Semmes, 71, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Larose, La., died at 12:06 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.
Mrs. Semmes loved to travel, read and build puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, Ignatius W. Semmes; children, Nicky (Katrina) Savoie, Jodie (Aaron) Guidry, Sandra (Cory) Plaisance and Dawn (James) Linden; step-children, Dana Scott, Miranda Hunter, Ryan and Tiffany Semmes, Kate Bolton and Kristen Starr; brothers, Bobby, Douglas and Bryan Bruce; Geraldine Esponge, Peggy Borne, Carolyn Bourgeois and Sheena Delatte; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at a later date.
