March 15, 2018Celina Foret, 73, of a native of Dulac and a resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on March 10, 2018.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2018, at Samart Funeral Home, Bayou Blue from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Samart Funeral Home, Bayou Blue from 9:00am until 11:00am.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Samart Funeral Home, Bayou Blue, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the Bisland Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Sammy Verret and wife Alicia; daughter, Loretta Verret; brother, Noel Foret and wife Audrey; two sisters, Martha Dean and husband Ivy, Cecile Billiot and husband Joseph; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Albertine V. Foret; 2 sons, Raydell and Raymond Verret; 2 sisters, Earline Fitch, Mary Verret; .
