Chad Michael Foret, 37, of Chauvin, passed away on August 31, 2017.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm at Samart Funeral Home, in Bayou Blue and Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 9am to 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed by the burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Alden Peter Foret Jr. and Deborah Ann Laque Foret; sister, Monica Foret Boudreaux (Ronnie); nephews, Dustin and Trent Boudreaux; nephew and Godchild, Alex Boudreaux; Godchild, Kelsie Authement; great niece, Kambree Boudreaux; daughter in mind and heart, Zoey LeBouef; grandmother, Joyce Charpentier; grandfather, Alden Foret Sr.; Godparents, Janice Smith and Albert Laque; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Flossie Foret, E.J. Charpentier, Louis Jefferies Laque Jr.; step grandmother, Pat Laque; uncles, Dale Foret and Louis Jefferies Laque III; best friend, Clarence “Brud” Authement.
Chad loved music, loved to fish, and getting tattoos. He was a funny guy and enjoyed joking around with his family and friends. He had a huge heart and helped anyone any chance he got. He just wanted to be loved, hated to be alone, and never met a stranger.
