Diane Marie Pitre, 67, a native of Houma and a resident of Montegut, passed away on August 25, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery – Chauvin.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Bourgeois; sons- Francis Pitre, Johnny Pitre and wife Katrina, grandchildren – Jonathan, Jacob, Delphia and Krisheanna Pitre, Lacey Marcel, brothers, Robert Pitre and wife Claudine and Lanny Pitre; sisters, Shirley Pitre Avant and Roberta Pitre and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents – Willis and Dorina White Pitre, brothers Aaron, Roland Pitre, sons – Ray and Alex Bourgeois .
