Haiti’s hardship helped by local charities

February 15, 2010Charlene Boudreaux McCarty, 67, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010.
She is survived by her mother, Edrith “Edie” Boudreaux; son, Jeffrey McCarty; daughter, Christie McCarty Trahan; sister, Patricia Bergeron; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jay McCarty; father, Charles Joseph Boudreaux Jr.; and sons, Robert C., Joey J. and Gary P. McCarty.
She is buried at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery in Bourg.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
