Charlie P. Chauvin, 79, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011.
He is survived by his sons, Wesley (Kathy), Fred (Linda) and Billy Chauvin; daughters, Wendy and Ada Chauvin, Katie (Matthew) Jones and April (Cade) Naquin; sisters, Sue Chauvin and Beryl (Jerry) Gros; companion, Leona Landry; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, May Domangue Chauvin; second wife, Florence Foret Chauvin; parents, Charles and Olga Sevin Chauvin; two sons, Barry and Charlie “CC” Chauvin; two brothers, Claude and Curman Chauvin; and one sister, Ursula Chauvin.
He is buried at St. Eli Cemetery. (Samart)
