Cheryl Mitchell Calloway, 56, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Lafayette, La., died Monday, April 2, 2012.
Mrs. Calloway was a faithful servant of Jehovah God and an encouragement to her friends and family since she dedicated her life in 1969. She was deeply loved and cherished by her family.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Calloway; daughters, Dana (Shawn) Gradney, Crystal (Wilton Jr.) Demouchet and Deidre McPherson; sister, Angie (Gilbert) Parker; brothers, Kirk (Pamela) and Marvin (Michelle) Mitchell; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Phyllis Mitchell; brother, Carlos Mitchell; and grandparents, Felix Sr. and Levorn Sims and Hayes and Zenobia Mitchell.
Burial was at Southdown Cemetery. (Jones)
