April 11, 2012Daniel Alton Swan, 62, a native of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:19 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012.
Mr. Swan was a former fireman for the Houma Fire Department and a former employee of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. He was a past member of Circuit Riders, a Boy Scout Master and past Lion’s Club officer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting guns. He was Christian and an ordained minister.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Swan; daughters, Danielle and Danise Swan; sister, Vicky (Jimmy) Long; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Swan. (Samart)
