Clarence “Genot” Junius Guidry, 71, a native and resident of Dulac, La., died Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
Mr. Guidry enjoyed hunting, fishing and working around the house. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Guidry; sons, Clarence Jr., Clarence C. and Kelvin Guidry and John Dean; daughters, Cathy Dardar, Shelly Savoie, Crystal Hickman, Nichole Lodrigue and Victoria Guidry; brothers, Calvin and Sterling Guidry and Ecton Billiot; sisters, Stella Nelson and Elda Lebeouf; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Felica Guidry; daughter, Darnell Guidry; brothers, Rusty, Russell, Delvin, Oscar, Alvin, John and Adam Guidry; and sisters, Ella Billiot and Della Parfait.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, and 8 to 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
