Clarice Gisclair Ledet, 92, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Thursday, Sept. 3, at 10:57 a.m.
She is survived by one son, Leroy Ledet and wife Lou; one daughter, Marion L. Cooper and husband Gary; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vic Alain Ledet; parents, Valsin and Marie Champagne Gisclair; four brothers, Madio, Dominic, Adam and Samjean Gisclair; four sisters, Marie Chouest, Clara Guidry, Fortuna Duet and Adocade Duet; two grandchildren, Trudy Ledet Loupe and Teddy Anthony Richoux; and one son-in-law, Theodore “T-Do” Richoux.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 315 in Galliano.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano with the funeral service to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
