Clarice Gros, 88, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011.
Mrs. Gros was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Larry Collins; daughters, Betty (Anthony) Labiche and Lou (Jim) Labit; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Woodwell Collins; second husband, Ivy Gros; parents, Claiborne and Alizina Cheramie; sons, Patterson Sr. and Logan Collins; brothers, Walter and Stanley Cheramie; and sisters, Alizina, Lorance and Evelia Cheramie and Rita Martin.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 at Holy Savior Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
