Clarice S. LeBlanc, 73, a native and resident of Bourg, La., died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010.


Mrs. LeBlanc faithfully sent cards to others on special occasions – birthdays and anniversaries. She loved the Saints and the LSU Tigers.

She is survived by her son, Bryan (Maureen) LeBlanc of Bayou Blue; daughters, Debbie (James) Larke of Tampa, Fla., Cathy (the Rev. Dwayne) Boudreaux of Chickamauga, Ga., Stacey (Kerry) Lapeyrouse of Bourg, and Heidi (Louis) Ledet of Bourg; sisters, Pat (Roy) Hunter of Marrero, Shara (Dean) Ramsier of Bourg, Wanda Legendre of Lockport and Melanie (Marc) Davis of Houma; brother, Numa (Linda) Schouest of Bourg; granddaughters, Jennifer, Heather, Ashley, Crystal, Nicole and Gabbie; grandsons, Caleb, Logan and Tyler; and great-grandsons, Griffin, Rylan and Kevin Jr.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby A. LeBlanc; parents, Fortuna “Fotch” and Odette Rogers Schouest; sisters, Janice Daspit, Faye Schouest, Brenda Bateman, Geneva Marcel and Jody Schouest; and brothers, Van and Gregorey Schouest.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday, Feb. 11, at St. Ann Community Center in Bourg. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg

She will be buried at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
