Clarice S. LeBlanc, 73, a native and resident of Bourg, La., died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010.


She is survived by her son, Bryan (Maureen) LeBlanc of Bayou Blue; daughters, Debbie (James) Larke of Tampa, Fla., Cathy (the Rev. Dwayne) Boudreaux of Chickamauga, Ga., and Stacey (Kerry) Lapeyrouse and Heidi (Louis) Ledet, both of Bourg; sisters, Pat (Roy) Hunter of Marrero, Shara (Dean) Ramsier of Bourg, Wanda Legendre of Lockport, and Melanie (Marc) Davis of Houma; brother, Numa (Linda) Schouest of Bourg; six granddaughters; three grandsons; and three great-grandsons.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby A. LeBlanc; parents, Fortuna “Fotch” Schouest and Odette Rogers Schouest; sisters, Janice Daspit, Faye Schouest, Brenda Bateman, Geneva Marcel and Jody Schouest; and brothers, Van and Gregorey Schouest.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, and from 8 a.m. until the service Thursday, Feb. 11, at St. Ann Community Center in Bourg. A Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg.

Mrs. LeBlanc will be buried at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery in Bourg.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
