Claude Richard Seago Sr. 83, a native of Joaquin, Texas, and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, May 4, 2014.
Mr. Seago was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Unity Lodge 267 and retired from Texaco after 33 years as a drilling supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Seago; son, Claude Jr. (Connie) Seago; daughters, Jackie (Mike) Plessala and Jill (Charles) Darsey; brother, John (Anna) Seago; sisters, Ann Hebert and Martha (Arthur) Guillotte; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Seago; parents, Claude and Magartie Seago; and sister, Peggy Cenac.
Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Samart Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Samart)
