Clifton “Tiffy” Babin, 90, a native of Bayou Blue, Louisiana, and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2015.
Mr. Babin was a retired employee for the Terrebonne Parish School Board, and an accomplished sugar cane farmer.
He is survived by his daughter, Peggy (Ronny) Gann; son, Ricky Babin; four grandchildren, Melanie Roberts Chaisson, Joshua Roberts, Joey Babin and Ami Babin; nine great-grandchildren, Kylie, Alyssa and Hallie Chaisson, Amity and Christopher Roberts, Joslyn, Brennon, Lyndi and Micah Babin.
Mr. Babin was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Moaison Babin; parents, Isley and Lena Babin; and son, Gary Paul Babin.
Visitation is set for 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
