Curtis Sylvester LeBlanc, 84, a native of Harvey, La. and resident of Grand Isle, La. died Monday, October 29, 2007, at 2:30 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Marie Daviet LeBlanc; two sons, Curtis LeBlanc and his wife Janice and David LeBlanc and his wife Terri; one daughter, Louise LaFont and her husband Darrell; one brother, Daniel LeBlanc; two sisters, Carolyn LaJaunie and Jeanette Dufrene; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond Wiley and Louise Hebert LeBlanc; and his stepmother, Sidonia LeBlanc.

Curtis was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church. He was a former employee of 32 years for Avondale Shipyards and the former co-owner of Bills Lawn Motel on Grand Isle.

No services have been scheduled at this time.
