Curtis “Michael” Ledet Sr., 57, a native of Bourg, La., and a resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Tuesday, July 21.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Kavanaugh Ledet; two sons, Curtis M. Ledet Jr. and wife Shannon, and Joseph E. Menier and wife Tish; one daughter, Theressa McKnight and husband Dewayne; four brothers, Wayne “Woody”, Gerald J., Timothy J. and Hugh “Anthony” Ledet; one sister, Marilyn Broadaway; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Paul Sr. and Genevieve Chauvin Ledet; and one brother, Harold P. “Digger” Ledet Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 23, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
