Cynthia Gros Naquin, 58, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Des Allemands, La., died after a valiant fight with cancer Thursday, December 11.


She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Stanford J. Naquin; four sons, Blaine, Blake, Barrett and Brady; three daughters-in-law, Natalie, Mary and Brook Naquin; five siblings, Wayne, Ricky, Timmy, Chris and Julie G. Ellis; five half-brothers and half-sister, Bobby, Jerry, Billy, Daryl Gros and Sherry Gros; five grandchildren; and numerous relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney J. Gros Jr. and Shirley Aucoin; and two sisters, Peggy Gros and Susan G. Peltier.

The funeral service was Monday, December 15, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands.
