Daisy Griffin, 61, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Wednesday, May 14, at 12:55 p.m.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Dotson, Jamie Laudun and Angela Fillinich; bothers, Elam Griffin and Willy Griffin; sisters, Doris Gisclair, Alice Bourgeois, Anna Rae Mejia, Callarena Melancon and Rosie Griffin; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Lovenia S. Griffin.
She was an excellent cook and enjoyed collecting recipes from everyone and everywhere. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A religious service will be at 7 p.m.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
