Daniel (Batop) Cap Johnson, 84, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010.
Mr. Johnson was a retired carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.
He is survived by son, Joseph (Marlene) Johnson; daughter, Debra Aitch; brother, Manuel Johnson Jr.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Community Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at the funeral home with burial at Bisland Cemetery.
