September 14, 2010Darlene Marie Romero, 52, a native of New Iberia, La., and a resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010.
Ms. Romero loved making great deals on items at yard sales and collecting nic naks. She also enjoyed passing a good time with family and friends. She had a big heart.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Romero; son, Herman Hebert; sisters, Dorothy Boutte, Louise Bodin and Willa Faulk; brothers: Alton, Preston, Carroll and Thomas Gaspard.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at Twin City Funeral Home.
