David Luke Bourgeois Sr., 53, a native of Lafitte, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Monday, Sept. 7, at 4:15 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Melody Bourgeois; parents, Daniel Bourgeois and Betty Bourgeois; two sons, Mark Bourgeois and wife Diane, and David Bourgeois Jr.; four daughters, Desiree Bourgeois, Betty Johnson and husband Larry, Tiffanie Hill and husband Brett, and Sandie Houston and husband James David; three brothers, Daniel Jr., Joseph Edward and Buddy James Bourgeois; two sisters, Marion Benton and Evelyn Hue; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie D. Bourgeois.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with the funeral expenses.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
