David Keith Pope, 47, a native of Oil City, LA. and resident of Houma, LA., died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Cunningham Pope; his mother, Priscilla Whatley Pope; two sons, Drew Pope and companion, Anne, and Derrick Pope and wife, Christy; three grandchildren, Alexis and Samantha Pope and Mary Benoit; and three sisters, Cathy Bice and husband, Ed, Susan Blanchard and husband, Larry, and Julie Cole and husband, Lynn.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Pope; and his grandparents, Horace and Hazel Whatley and Alfred and Marie Pope.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
