Debra Ann Leblanc Stevens, 55, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, April 18.


She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Lynn Cenac and husband Ryan, and Charity Stevens Ennis; mother, Mary Guidry Leblanc; sisters, Jennifer Caillouet and husband Clyde, Kim Olivier and husband Robert, and Ursula English; brothers, Charlie Fuselier and wife Kim, and Curtis Leblanc; and grandchildren, Jade Voisin, Brody Cenac, Austin Ennis and Tyra LouAnn Ennis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Leblanc; brother, Michael Leblanc; and niece, Tyra Marae Olivier.


She also went by the name Debbie to those who were close to her. She developed a wit and charm that formed her personality and was funny at times. After graduating high school, she married Billy Stevens. They brought two children into this world – Tammy and Charity. She was known as a very kind, gentle person, being considerate of others.

She was known as a “loving Nana” to her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them to the library. Her kids and grandkids became her world. She loved her family, friends and always held a closeness for them in her heart. She enjoyed family gatherings, cooking and “loved good food.” She was a Jehovah’s Witness. Jehovah God was the biggest part of her life. She always did her best to serve him.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a memorial service at 7 p.m.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
