Diana Marks LeBlanc, 60, a resident of Houma, La., and a native of Gibson, La., died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at Community Funeral Home with funeral services held at 7 p.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson, La.


Dismissal services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetary.


Mrs. LeBlanc is survived by her husband, Elroy LeBlanc; two daughters, Kema and husband, Wilson LaCaze and Kelly LeBlanc; five brothers, Crosby (Myrna) Marks, Larry (Sandra) Marks, Johnny (Crystal) Marks, Reginald Brown, and Charles (Josephine) Brown; three sisters, Joandell Robinson, Gainell (James) Broussard, and Carolyn (Alfred) Robinson; and two grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Leola Marks, and grandparents, Willie Marks Sr. and Elizabeth Aitkens Marks Cheavis and Thomas and Mary Stewart.

She was a baptist and member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson, and was a member of the Socialites, Mt. Pilgrim Mass Choir, Mission Society, and Pioneers of America. She also participated in volunteer work with Relay for Life & Church.

She was a retired BellSouth employee.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society in memory of Diana Marks LeBlanc at 614 Barrow St., Houma, LA 70360.

Community Funeral Home is in charged of arrangements.
