Donald Earl Brister, 75, a native of Ferriday, La., and a resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Thursday, February 5, at 8:22 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Eda Brister; son, Benjamin “Bo” Brister; brother, Rupert Brister; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl S. and Edna Scarborough Brister; son, Jeffrey Brister; brother, Ronald Brister; and sister, Marilyn Bergeron.
No services are scheduled.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
