Donald James Price Sr., 79, a native of Bourg, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, April 29, 2013.
Mr. Price worked in the oil and gas industry and was a retired crew boat owner who contracted with Texaco. He loved fishing, gardening, skimming, staying active and playing competitively with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet Price; children, Christine, Donald Jr. and Wade Price and Lynne (Eddie III) Richaud; brothers, Harold (Virgie), George (Rita), Charles (Ruby), Robert (Laura) and Carl (Brenda) Price; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sheldon and Lucille Price; brothers, Herbert and Lloyd Price; sister, Elma White; and one grandchild.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
