Donald Louis Peltier, 81, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, March 6.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Grace Frost Peltier; daughters, Katherine Peltier Joffrion and Penny Peltier Tate; sons, Stephen G. Peltier, John E. Peltier, Timothy J. Peltier, Michael J. Peltier, Allen C. Peltier and Henry M. Peltier; sons-in-law, Ray H. Joffrion Jr. and David C. Tate; daughters-in-law, Pam N. Peltier, Martha M. Peltier, Julie M. Peltier, Michelle T. Peltier and Jennifer N. Peltier; sister, Bernice P. Harang; brother, James R. Peltier; sisters-in-law, Ann A. Peltier, Mickey G. Peltier, Quida Mai F. Diedrich and Jane F. Naquin; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey A. Peltier Sr. and May Ayo Peltier; brothers, Harvey A. Peltier Jr. and Richard B. Peltier; sons, Donald L. Peltier Jr. and William T. “Bill” Peltier; and brothers-in-law, George H. Diedrich Jr., Herman L. Naquin Sr., Henry “Dookie” Dupont Sr. and Warren J. Harang Jr.

He was buried at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Cemetery.
