Dorcelie “Cisco” Esponge Jr., 78, a native and resident of Grand Isle, La., died at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011.
Mr. Esponge was the owner and operator of Cisco’s Hideaway and Cisco’s Cajun Cantina. He was a lifetime member of the Rotary Club.
He is survived by his companion, Ruby Ayaya; sons, Blake (Sue) and Carle Sr. (Bobbie) Esponge Sr. and Joseph Adame; daughters, Melisa Esponge, Elizabeth Adame and Connie Tillery; brothers, Noles, Neil and Norris (Shirley) Esponge; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorcelie Sr. and Henrietta Esponge.
Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La. (Samart-Mothe)
