Dorothy “Ms. Dot” Boudwin, 56, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and a resident of Dulac, La., died Monday, December 29, 2008.
She is survived by her husband, Patric John Boudwin Sr.; two sons, Patric John Boudwin Jr. and wife Kelly, and Keith John Boudwin and wife Sabrina; one daughter, Christal LaCoste and husband Melvin Jr.; two brothers, Joseph Matherne and Carrol Toups; six grandchildren, Brittany Boudwin, Skyla LaCoste, Derrick LaCoste, Kristen Boudwin, Dustin Boudwin and Jenae Boudwin; one great-grandchild, Daten John Boudwin; four brothers-in-law, Billy Ray Sr., Jewel Boudwin Sr. and wife Bonnie, Cornell Boudwin and Randy LeBlanc Sr. and wife Jerri; and one Godchild, Billy Ray Jr. and wife Kimberly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Della Crochet and Joseph Matherne; her mother-in-law, Rose Mary Voisin; one sister-in-law, Patricia Ray Boudwin; and two brothers, Melow Smith and Michael Matherne.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, January 1, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., and 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
