Dula Duplantis Dupre

Dula Duplantis Dupre, 75, a native of Dulac, La., and a resident of Bayou Blue, La., died at 8:26 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, 2010.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin L. Dupre; sons, David (Shirley), Tommy (Yvonne) and Joseph (Jeannine) Dupre; daughters, Loretta Dupre and Edith (Bruce) Talbot; brothers, Joseph, Earl, Nolan, Dwight and Ted Duplantis; sisters, Juanita Green, Gloria Stringer, Bernadette LeBlanc and Sonya Caraway; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at St. Louis Catholic Church with the service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
