Earline Estay Foret Cancienne, 85, a resident of Raceland, LA. and a native of Lafourche, LA., died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2007.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland. A mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.


She is survived by her husband, Cleveland ” Pee Wee” Cancienne; her step-sons, Henry, Gayle, and Larry Cancienne and wife, Pam; her daughters, Barbara Foret Theriot and husband, George, and Darlene Foret Picou and husband, Danny; three grandchildren, Shane Michael Theriot, Tina Theriot Miller, and Maile Picou; two grandchildren, Michelle and Kelly Cancienne; and a step-great-grandchild, Megan Folse.

She was preceded in death by her husband of her first marriage, Tilton Foret; her parents, Norbert and Elise Ledet Estay; and her step-daughter-in-law, Barbara Cancienne.

She was a parishoner of St. Hilary Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Hilary Ladies Altar Society.

Falgout Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
