Earline “Taunt Non” Valerie Sanchez, 98, a native and resident of Choctaw, La., died Thursday, May 1, 2014.
Mrs. Sanchez loved rocking on the porch and fun-filled nights at the casino. She enjoyed having fun with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Tina (Johnny) Maynard and Carol, Hemanuel (Brenda), Wallace (Arlene) and Clayton (Marilyn) Sanchez; sisters, Melba and Doris Sanchez; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sanchez; parents, Wallace and Lilly Ordoyne; sisters, Louise Duet and Frances Larose; brothers, Roland, Wilton and Samuel Ordoyne; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Burial is at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Cemetery in Chackbay, La. (Thibodaux)
