Early Plaisance, 82, a native of Larose, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Saturday, April 12 at 11 a.m.


He is survived by his wife, Earline Pierce Plaisance; sons, Teddy Plaisance and wife Theresa and Michael Plaisance and wife Cindy; daughters, Betty Hogan and husband Roy, Marla Rose and husband Brian and Mitzi Bernard and husband Kevin; brother, John Plaisance; sister, Clara Belle Simoneaux; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Virginia Plaisance; brother, Dudley Plaisance; and sister, Earline Arceneaux.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Sacred Heart Church with a mass of Christian burial to follow. He will be buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Larose.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
