Earnest John Matherne, 64, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.
Mr. Matherne was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his brothers, Floyd, Gary, Anthony, Kenneth, Phillip and Thomas Matherne; and sisters, Mary McKee, Nancy LeBouef, Margaret Yerena and Suzzane Kitchens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alban and Marie Matherne. (Chauvin)
