Ruth Lyons, 81, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.
Mrs. Lyons was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a friend to all who knew her. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Barry (Patti) and Kelly (Carla) Lyons; daughters, Lana (Ted) LeBlanc and Trudy Matherne; sister, Joyce Rodrigue; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Lyons; parents, Edwin and Adeline Charpentier; and brothers, Donald and E.J. Jr. Charpentier.
Burial is at St. Elie Cemetery. (Chauvin)
