December 18, 2015Eddie Bruce Jr., 71, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 11:11 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015.
Mr. Bruce was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He was owner of Bruce Insurance Agency, and served his community for eight years as a justice of the peace. He was an avid sports fan. Go Tigers.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Blanchard Bruce; sons, James and Dallas Bruce; daughter, Reagan Bruce; brothers, Daniel, Charlie and Tony Bruce; sisters, Geraldine Coupel and Judy Matherne; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery.
