February 8, 2010Edgar Joseph Toups Sr., a lifelong resident of Berwick, La., died at his residence on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010.
Mr. Toups enjoyed being with his family and dog, Buddy.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Toups; sons, Edgar Jr. of Bayou Vista, Robert of Berwick and Gary of Bayou Vista; stepsons, Kenneth and Randy Boyne; stepdaughter, Karen Boyne; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rachel Toups; parents, Edward and Olamp Toups; one brother; two sisters; and stepdaughter, Debra Horton.
He is buried at Berwick Cemetery.
