Edith “Miss Cal” Clement, 98, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA., died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007.


Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by five sons, Calford, Lloyd “Red”, Robert, David and Tommy Clement; two daughters, Deanna Ordoyne and Judy Callahan; one sister, Yvonne LeBlanc; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clairville “Cal” P. Clement; her parents, Alphonse Adams and Judith LeSage Adams; two brothers, Harry and Gilbert Adams; two sisters, Gertrude Hebert and Anita Gros; and two grandchildren.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
