Edward “Black” Joseph LeBouef Jr., 49, a native of Madisonville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, May 12, at 3:10 p.m.


He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Allemand LeBouef of Houma; daughter, Jean LeBouef Pellegrin and husband, Derek Pellegrin Sr., of Houma; brother, Michael E. LeBouef of Houma; and grandchild, Derek Pellegrin Jr.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Joseph LeBouef Sr. and Martha Cooper LeBouef; brothers, Paul J. LeBouef and Donald LeBouef; one sister, Earline M. Cazeaux.

He was a former tugboat captain.

He was buried at Bisland Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
