LPSO’s POP Squad nabs violent offender on warrant, drug charges
July 20, 2007
Graham Frank, 5, of Houma, wasn’t deterred by a blown transformer at Books-A-Million Friday night. The young boy and his mother, Regina, waited among the faithful for 12:01 a.m. when the seventh – and final – book in the popular J.K. Rowling’s "Harry Potter" series went on sale. Dressed as a young Harry, Graham was more interested in the costume contest than actually reading the book. In fact, Regina Frank said, "Mom gets dibs on the book." The Associated Press reported Saturday that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" sold 8.3 million copies in its first 24 hours. * Staff photo by SHELL ARMSTRONG
