Edward Calongne

Edward Henry Calongne, 72, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, died Monday, July 16, 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Domangue Calongne; two daughters, Leslie Calongne Carrigan and Candice Calongne Cuccia; one stepdaughter, Jenny C. Seale; one brother, Terry Calongne; one sister, Carolyn Iennusa; four grandchildren, Kelly Junior Carrigan, Jermey Prosperie, Katy Cuccia and Annie Cuccia; three great-grandchildren; one niece, Leah Marie Lovell; and two great-nephews, Mason and Logan Chiasson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward John Calongne and Leah Iris Lambort Calongne.

Edward was a retired safety-equipment manager and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.

Visitation is Sunday, July 22, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and Monday, July 23, 2007, from Noon until 1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at Greenwood Funeral Home in New Orleans, La. He will be buried at St. Patrick Cemetery in New Orleans.
