Residents raising a stink brings results on sewage odor

Edward “Sonny” Joseph Robichaux Sr., 80, a native and resident of Bourg, La., died at 9:39 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011.
Mr. Robichaux served in the U.S. Navy, worked for Freeport Sulphur Co. for 17 years and spent the remainder of his career in the marine industry.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Robichaux; sons, Edward and Chet Robichaux and Jeremie (Kelly) Mize; daughters, Cindy (Charlie) Nixdorff, Bethany Robichaux and Chrisie (Tracy) Rodrigue; brothers, Reynold and Stephen Robichaux; sisters, Helen Bergeron and Ezoline Bourg; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Joseph and Lucille Robichaux; sister, Ella Tabor; and daughter-in-law, Millie Robichaux.
Burial was at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery in Bourg. (Samart)
