September 12, 2011Edward “Pete” Peterson, 69, a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011.
Mr. Peterson was a self-employed auto detailer and former employee of Lafourche Motors.
He is survived by his son, Edward (VanChandra) Duncan; daughters, Sandra (Travis) Truehill and Cheryl Jones; companion, Bessie Coleman; three sisters; 10 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doretha and Edward Peterson Sr.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Williams and Southall)
