Edward Thomas, 73, a native and resident of Napoleonville, LA., died Friday, February 09, 2007 at our Lady Of The Lake Assumption Hospital in Napoleonville.


Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday, February 16, 2007 at New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Labadieville, LA. The religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.


He is survived by three sisters, Carolyn Brown and husband Jessie of San Antonio, TX., Cora Thomas and Dorothy Coleman of Napoleonville; three brothers, Carroll Thomas Sr., and wife, Agnes, Robert Lee Thomas Sr., and wife, Clementine of Napoleonville and Gerald Thomas and wife, Regina of Thibodaux, LA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Harriet Thomas Jr.; two brothers, George Thomas Jr. and Willie Thomas; and one sister, Gertrude Narcisse.

He was Baptist.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
