Edwin Joachim Lagarde Jr., 81, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011.
He is survived by his sons, Jack (Cindy), John (Malette), Jason (Kelly), Dooley (Cindy) and Keith (Pam) Lagarde; daughters, Joanne (Duane) Bergeron, Jennifer (Mike) Constant and Jill (Dwayne) Thibodaux; brother, Ray (Carol) Lagarde; 29 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annadell Lagarde; parents, Edwin Lagarde Sr. and Ethel Torres; son, Malcom Lagarde; brother, Harold Lagarde; sister, Brenda Benoit; and grandchild, Aimee Lagarde
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Thibodaux)
