Houma man leads police on chase

Edwin “Rock” Lefort, 71, a resident and native of Larose, La., died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Ledet Lefort; his sons, Shannon, James, and Shane Lefort; one daughter, Stephanie Callais; 3 brothers, Willis, Clifton, and Rafton Lefort; his sisters, Clothilde, Lillie, Genevieve, Elmire, and Virgis, and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nola Arceneaux Lefort, and one son, Shae Michael Lefort.
Falgout Funeral Home will be charge of the arrangements.
