Elaine M. Loupe, 74, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Friday, November 14, at 6:36 p.m.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Ann “Vickie” Carlile; daughter, Kathleen Rhodes; brother, Cameron Matherne of Raceland; grandchildren, Celest Rhodes of Houma, La., and Wade Rigdon of Washington Parish, La.; step-grandchildren, Jacob, Josh and Jenny; and great-grandchildren, Kara and Philip Rhodes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Joseph Loupe; and parents, Herbert “Charlie” Matherne and Ethel Hebert Matherne.
She was a member of the Terrebonne Parish Apartment Association. She was a “CB” and “Ham” radio operator and enjoyed baseball and all sports at Mount Carmel in Thibodaux.
Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, November 21, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, La. with the funeral service to follow. She will be buried at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
