Elise Boudreaux Simmons, 94, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Labadieville, La., died Friday, May 1.
She is survived by her son, Edward Simmons Sr. and wife Shirley; daughter, Betty Thibodeaux and husband Russell; grandchildren, Diana Ordoyne, Melanie Kraemer and Edward Simmons Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Brooke and Brian Kraemer, Cameron and Philip Simmons and Rusty Ordoyne Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Paul Simmons; parents, Jean Delma Boudreaux and Josephine Aysenne Boudreaux; brothers, Nelson, Eugene, Leonce Sr., Theogene, Henry, John, Joseph, Achille, Paul and Pierre Boudreaux; and sisters, Ursula Gros, Ida Naquin, Hattie Boudreaux and Irene Boudreaux.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at St. Philomena Church in Labadieville with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
